About the Institute

The Institute of Financial Management and Good Governance (IFMG) is a public capacity development and professional training institute operating under the Ministry of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia. IFMG’s mandate is to build the capacities of public financial service institutions and human resources to enhance performance for public service delivery across the Federal Government of Somalia, the Federal Member States, and civil society actors by providing in-service training, professional certification, and diploma programs, practical research, and expert knowledge services.
